Who We Are

Chamber Music — without barriers.

We believe great music belongs to everyone. DUO was founded to bring chamber music into unexpected spaces and to champion composers whose stories have gone untold.

🎻

Equity First

We actively seek out and program works by composers from underrepresented communities — women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and disabled artists.

.🏘️

Radical Access

Free and sliding-scale concerts. Performances in schools, community centers, and neighborhoods that rarely see live chamber music.

🌱

Deep Roots

La Crosse is home. We partner with local organizations, hire local musicians, and invest our energy where we live.

Mini-Season Finale

Join DUO for the end of its 2026 Mini-Season! This culminating concert features Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring alongside a companion piece by Kimberly Osberg called Rocky Summer, previously premiered by the Dallas Chamber Symphony. Pay-what-you-can tickets!

We want the music we perform to be representative of the community we serve — vibrant, relevant, and alive — and for people to know that it belongs to them, just by virtue of being human.
— Cullan Lucas, Artistic Director
